Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning for the low rates of annual inflation for the period from the month of December 2008 until the month of December 2009 increased by (4.4%).
The press statement issued by the Got (news agency the Iraqi media / conscious) a copy of "This decline in the annual headline inflation was due to the lower indices of the following commodity groups (textiles and clothing And footwear, furniture, fuel and lighting, transportation, medical services and drugs) and the rates of (4.0% ، 3.2% ، 41.0% ، 6.6% ، 3.7%) respectively, and the commodity groups (food, beverages and tobacco, miscellaneous goods and services, rent) recorded rates of increase in their prices (2.6%, 6.0%, 6.6%, 9.3%) respectively during the period from December 2008 until December 2009. "
The statement pointed to "rising inflation index for the month of December 2009 from the level recorded in the month of November 2009, as reflected in the index of consumer prices rose (1.3%), which was the result of higher indices for most of the following commodity groups (beverages and tobacco, textiles and clothing and footwear, furniture, fuel and lighting, medical services and medications, miscellaneous goods and services and rent) rates of (1.5% ، 0.6% ، 1.2% ، 5.6% ، 0.4% ، 0.1% ، 1.7%) 1.2%, 5.6%, 0.4%, 0.1%, 1.7%) respectively, and the two groups (food, transport and communication) has recorded a price decline during the month of December 2009, compared to the previous month rates of ( 0.8%, 0.4%) respectively. "
Inflation, which basically means the percentage change in the index of consumer prices calculated after excluding petroleum products (oil, gas, petrol) has reached according to the statement (20651.1), a rise rate (0.8%) from the previous month and increased by (6.0%) for month of December of last year.
The Central Bureau of Statistics has always issue a monthly report to read the inflation rates in Iraq Which is prepared on the basis of field data collection "on the prices of goods and services component of the basket of consumer retail prices in selected markets in Baghdad and the provinces .. notes through those reports and a decline in the inflation rates of normal (2.7%) in 2008 to (2.8%) in the year 2009, as well as the foundation of low inflation (12.7%) in the year 2008 to (6.9%) in the year 2009.
